The Perfect Homemade Hot Apple Cider

Hot Apple Cider

I love the holiday season. The lights. The music. The food. The drinks. The hot apple cider.

Every year, we host a Christmas party for 75 people, including kiddos, in our very average-size house. Our friends and family come and go throughout the evening with the final stragglers leaving around 3:00 AM.

I provide most of the food and drinks, but outsource the homemade hot chocolate, cheese boards, and meatballs to a few friends. The apple cider is my specialty drink, though. I have been fiddling with this recipe for a few years and have finally perfected it.

Every year, this is the first drink to go. So, make sure you have extra ingredients on-hand!
